this was one of the first times i really set myself free on the piano. for some reason, i wouldn't set myself free on the piano while being raised; I did this in my purple room in philly. this is also one of the first things I ever recorded. it's rather odd that I played in this style because i was trained to be a classical pianist, not jazz. i'm not saying this is jazz ... i would call it 'freestyle'.
